The free energy discussion was interesting as two people spoke about what they were developing and a third (not present) was working with them and I was intrigued by what they thought was happening and why, and what was preventing things going quite as expected and how things were going to come right 'anytime soon'. I didn't expect lunch. The clients paid for it and lunch was interesting - the two clients (man & wife) owned and ran a helicopter company and told interesting stories about logging cliffsides and beating up residential houses. I was paid for the overall attendance and not by the hour. I was happy with the time spent at lunch for its entertainment value. I think MY lunch was free to me :-). The person who paid me probably also made on the deal as he may otherwise have been an investor.
