BUT they can destroy TANSTAAFL!

I got paid to attend a small meeting [rich clients and hopeful 'inventors'
- I represented an associate of the client] and to report on a conversation
about such a device. And I was given a free lunch while I was there. I was
not aware  of the exact nature of the device before I went or TANSTAAFL
would have been safe. [Yes - I'm aware that TANSTAAFL was only violated
within a closed and bounded system and that over all TANSTAAFL was
conserved.]
