He also cites Bedini, who is a very divisive figure. Some hail
him as the second Tesla, others hail him in quite a different way.
His defenders can be counted on to insist on the technology
suppression conspiracy theories, and yet there are many alternative
energy solutions being researched, and implemented, without any
controversy at all

I am sure that most, if not all, over unity claims by those not
actively scamming, can be explained by misunderstood or
unrealised energy sources. From what I have read of Kapandze's
demonstrations, he refuses scrutiny, which raises suspicions. He's
under no obligation to of course, but he has a patent ......

What marketing progress has Kapandze made in the years since
he patented this ? Bruce de Palma's N-machine idea has been
around for 40 years. 20 years ago I had a good friend, a very
competent engineer, spend a lot of his time carefully trying to
repeat de Palma's results. Never did.
