I am pretty sure that's only new updates. Updates from before the cutoff date are still being offered to an XP machine of mine that I told to "notify me of updates" right before the final XP update that warns you how you are using an unsupported computer so go buy a new one, please. And my virtual PC version of XP, that I have never done an update on, reminds me regularly of 300-plus updates ready to download.
