My partner works in an environment where other business associates log onto=
 her computer ( when she is gone ) to do work.  They have their own compute=
r=85. but she keeps hers up to date and working correctly =85. so it is con=
venient to use it instead of their own messed up computer.  They also let t=
heir friends use her computer.  This means that her computer gets messed up=
 from time to time by their antics.

No =85 she cannot deny them access =85=85. they don=92t listen to her reque=
sts =85.. they smile =85. they smirk =85 and they do a s they please.  ( Th=
ere are often thefts of work items that someone else feels they are more en=
titled to.  No thefts of personal items. )  IT has blocked her from changin=
g her password or altering any permissions.  She is not allowed to add any =
applications / scripts/etc. to the computer.

I have built an adapter.  It is a 15 pin male to female VGA extender about =
50 mm long. Inside the adapter is a magnetic reed switch that interrupts pi=
n 14 ( vertical sync ).  I was hoping that removing the external magnet wou=
ld cause the monitor to =93frame roll=94.  Instead the display goes dark.  =
 She takes the magnet off the adapter when she leaves for the day.  The oth=
er associates barely know which side of a whale the scroll wheel is on.

I am asking for suggestions on how to make the computer more amusingly unap=
pealing to the =93squatters=94 when they tap on the keyboard to unsleep the=
 computer.  It would be great if the display rolled or showed crazy effects=
 or a foul smell came from the computer or smoke+crackling sounds came from=
 the box.
