I bought a few of the Cree True White bulbs during a recent 50%-off sale at the local Home Labyrinth. The bulbs aren't as efficient due to the blue shell. The light is very nice though. Dimmable, although I have no dimmers in the house(almost all CFL bulbs). Philips has some LED bulbs that are flat like popsicles. Also dimmable but not high CRI. I have them in porch light, garage etc, anywhere that isn't room temperature. CFLs don't like high temps and take a while to get bright when cold.
