I'm working on an application that has an RN-131G (Roving Networks ->=20 Microchip) module It was working decently fine, however it is always powering up in it's=20 AP configuration mode now. It starts an access point with name WiFly GX=20 .... which I can connect to with my laptop and see a command interface, etc. This is not the intended operation. My desire is to get back to the raw=20 configuration mode wherein I can send it commands over the serial port.=20 The manual indicates that GPIO9 high will force it to go into the AP=20 config mode. I'm not using this pin at all, so I tried tying it to=20 ground. Despite power cycles, it always starts up in the AP config mode=20 which puts out the following on the serial port: WiFly WebConfig v1.06 Apr 19 2013 11:48:44 on RN-131 Mac Addr=3D00:06:66:21:79:5c *READY* AP mode as WiFly-GSX-5c on chan 1 DCHP Server Init reboot ERR: ?-Cmd help ERR: ?-Cmd I can't find documentation indicating why it's doing this and how to get=20 it out of this mode. Are there any WiFly gurus out there?
