Oh, you mean like the Microchip MAL ??? So many conditional statements to t=
ake care of differences between C18 and C30/32, and differences between act=
ual chip functionality that some of the library units get quite convoluted.

Sometimes I think the only way to understand it is to pass it through a pre=
-processor with the required conditionals set, and see what you get out the=
 end.
