I had a typewriter as printer as well ! I remember building my own
interface and wrote my own =93printer driver=94 in assembler for my ZX-spec=
trum.

I was so happy when I found out there existed two-colour ribbon: wow - blac=
k AND red !!

But I find it hard to inspire my sons with simple electronics.
If it hasn't got an LCD screen of some sort then they are not very interest=
ed...
