Thanks, Neil!! I thought PICLIST finally got tired of me and was=20 throwing out my posts. My problem is with the screwball actions of MPLAB, MPLABX AND icd3. That covers it, right? My design uses a PIC16F1947, a cool, sleek 16F with 16-level stack,=20 quick interrupt (context saving with changeable shadow registers) and lots of other=20 slick features. So it is a new chip to me (I always wait to buy a chip until the bugs are=20 chased out; this one had six revisions), so I expect a few issues. But this one is awesome:=20 neither the SIM in mplab8.5 or mplabx2.05, nor the ICD3 will step above address 0x2000,=20 but since the chip is a 16k word devicxe, it should step to 0x3fff. Now, the fact that an old MPLAB and a NEW ONE- MPLABX- as well as an=20 ICD3, ALL have the SAME error means that the error is somewhere else. That=20 somewhere is certainly in the include file that they all use, but I am unable to find the mistake. Can anyone find the error, and become a hero? Look in PIC16F1947.INC. --Bob A On 4/11/2014 8:58 PM, Neil wrote: > Have you tried contacting an FAE?
