Each day there is a new theory what has had happened. Now some claims someone from the passengers may had hacked the plane using radio devices or USB connecting to the onboard entertaining system and "remote controlled" the plane. Although I would not say it is completely impossible, sounds like a hollywood movie to me. For that someone needs to plant the malicious code into the firmware of the airplane before flying and then the trigger device activates that code -- or the exploitation needs to be done while flying. This is really interesting as I thought all curtail electronics on board is tripled, and three different companies / teams are designing and producing the electronics. These electronics needs to either vote or manually switched, in case something happens. So if this malware theory true, an attacker needs to know all three devices, hack all of them and make sure triggered each one of them, right? http://www.express.co.uk/news/world/465126/Missing-Malaysia-Airlines-plane-= may-have-been-cyber-hijacked-using-mobile-phone Tamas On 15 March 2014 21:38, Lee Jones wrote: > > Unstalled a u2 apparently "just wants to fly" and coaxing > > it down was apparently a difficult task. > > I read about a U2 incident over ConUS (continental US). > Flight was being handled by normal air traffic control > centers.
