Don't recall how long the original test bulbs lasted, but it was a
long time.

I have filament (spotlight) bulbs only in the kitchen now, all others
are fluorescent.

The last to be replaced were those in a small chandelier. It seemed
every week one or two (usually Philips 75W, which I kind of kept
buying to provide Philips with some evidence of inconsistency, not
that they took any notice) would need replacing, some lasting barely
day. Others lasted months.
