I had a completely different experience in Vancouver (Canada) during=20 the early 70's. I was attending BCIT and had a part-time job at a=20 close-by Radio Shack. The store manager was passionate about his store and all of his=20 employees shared his enthusiasm. I spent much of my time in a back=20 room fixing broken Radio Shack amplifiers and receivers and gained a=20 real appreciation for how well those things were built. Not only=20 were they well built, they had really decent documentation.
