Admitt= edly the=20 pins were pressed through a layer of tin foil, which was an attempt at maki= ng it ESD=20 viable, but in the this case the holes in the foil were so large some pins = were no=20 longer touching it. Maybe I was overly grumpy, but to force the issue I too= k a photo=20 and binned the chips.
