I'll get in touch with the author. When I designed the PCB, I wanted to use USB to upload new codes, so I didn't bother to add the RS232 hardware and converter. Mainly because my notebook doesn't have a serial port anyway. I did use the tiny bloader in previous projects (non-18f). So, I'm stuck with the USB bootloader ('usbolo.asm' - you don't have it on your list yet. It can be easily compiled on Linux with gpasm) for now, unless I redesign the board.
