LiFePO4 seems overall to be very underdocumented so far. eg you can (apparently) "safely" charge them in some very extreme ways which would make eg LiIon fail interestingly. And this seems to be known by Chinese manufacturers of small eg AA LiFePO4 cells. But information thereon is minimal.
