PLUS, ... D2 needs to be suitable for Vin also. They also increase the inductance of L1 with voltage (5/12 uH per Volt of Vin) so a 60 V Vmp system is going to need ~=3D 25 uH. Slightly different probably doesn't matter but their code may depend on Ton being approximately constant. If you increase uH with voltage the effect may be more or less transparent to the software.
