(Although I admit I don't use an IDE on t= he > Linux side). There's an add-on for Visua Studio which I use when C++ / Windows=20 programming, called Visual-Assist X. It adds a lot of contextual=20 features like adding member variables, intelligently renaming=20 variables/members across a project, etc. It also improves the hinting=20 that shows up when writing code. It's not free but I think it's worth=20 the money if you spend any real time with Visual Studio. FWIW I really like Visual Studio but I would like to use Qt Creator for=20 new projects. Their IDE is nearly as good as VS, probably surpassing it=20 in a lot of areas. And your program will (more easily) be cross platform=20 if you use it. - Martin K --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
