I've been using EAGLE (a PCB design package) for a number of simple drawing=
s of technical rather than "artistic" content.

I find the reliance on "real world" dimensions to be pretty useful.

you have to manually export an image before you can mail it (which I think =
is going to be true of most drawing programs; I don't think I've ever seen =
an "export as email" option in anything.) (Hmm.  Google Docs includes a "dr=
awing" program; would that work for you?)

And EAGLE is far from simple to use.  To use it for general purpose drawing=
s sort-of assumes that you'd be familiar with it from its more traditional =
uses.
