I'm impressed with Cortex-M4 Tiva=99 TM4C123GH6PM Microcontroller:
The General-Purpose Timer Module (GPTM) contains six 16/32-bit GPTM blocks
and six 32/64-bit wide GPTM blocks:
=96 32- or 64-bit one-shot or periodic timer
=96 64-bit Real-Time Clock (RTC) when using an external 32.768-KHz clock as
the input
- Ability to determine the elapsed time between the assertion of the timer
interrupt and entry into the interrupt service routine
