When turning on Windows 8.0 computer this morning, I got a Windows 8.1=20 upgrade screen that would only allow me to go to "Store", which I didn't=20 want to do without some research and preparation. Went to "Task manager"=20 (CLT-ALT-DEL), then logout >login, which brought me back sto a similar=20 screen, but, this time, also had a later option, which I took. Found=20 this page which had good advice before upgrading: http://howto.cnet.com/8301-11310_39-57604101-285/how-to-create-a-system-ima= ge-in-windows-8/ Any comments before I take the plunge to update of pitfalls appreciated. --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
