If moisture (mildew) indoors is an issue as the indoor cools, then would=20
not a dehumidifier be helpful? As the humid air cools, the relative=20
humidity goes up, and condensation occurs. Also vapor barrier at cool=20
side of wall needs to be intact, and sufficient insulation to keep=20
surface above dew point temperature. These are routine for us Northern=20
people. :)
