Ouch! Once again a worthwhile and useful project gets cancelled because there=20 is an economical off-the-shelf product that fills the need! Not to worry, I have plenty to do. The Farm Innovators Thermo Cube Thermostatically Controlled Outlet=20 (TC-3) through Amazon turns on at 35F and off at 45F for less than $14=20 meets my needs. I ordered 3 of them. I will use a micro to log the operation for a while though. The heater is a metal enclosed "milk shed" type with primitive but=20 reliable controls.
