I spent far more time interacting with people much older than myself=20 than I did with people my own age - I was incessantly curious about=20 *everything* (not just electronics) and grownups were the people who=20 knew about that kind of stuff. It was a lot of fun but I sure paid the price later on - I never did=20 learn to interact with people my own age until much later in=20 life. Tech skills: pretty darned good. Social skils: nil. Oops.
