There was a interesting FORTH Implementation for the PIC32MX2 series posted on the chipKIT forum here. http://thomasokken.com/free42/download/free42.tgz It may be of interest. I haven't used it yet, but intend to do so soon on a custom board hooked into a Nexus 7.
