I've been looking at some of the home / semi-pro units out there and=20 I haven't yet found anything that matches what I need. One of the=20 sticking points is that I need the audio recorded to two separate=20 devices simultaneously. I'm heading in the direction of having someone write this for me. I=20 just need to have the client nail down the requirements so that I=20 have a firm spec before I get started. But please keep the ideas coming in - I'd rather purchase than create=20 from scratch if possible. Many thanks! dwayne At 01:28 PM 12/3/2013, Robin Bussell wrote: >Chipping in rather late here, but one thought is that some of these=20 >home recorders have midi inputs that can take "transport control"=20 >messages to start and stop recordings. >Maybe a simple pic device could be whipped up to provide the two=20 >button interface and send appropriate midi messages? > >Cheers, > Robin. > >-----Original Message----- >From: piclist-bounces@mit.edu [mailto:piclist-bounces@mit.edu] On=20 >Behalf Of Denny Esterline >Sent: 21 November 2013 14:19 >To: Microcontroller discussion list - Public. >Subject: Re: [PIC] Need bullet-proof 8 channel audio recorder > >I was having an unrelated conversation with an amateur musician=20 >coworker yesterday and he mentioned some portable recorders he uses=20 >for practice sessions.
