Agreed; that WAS back in the days when a 90V battery consisted of a massive=
 stack of relatively small carbon/zinc plates, and didn't have a very high =
current capacity.  Every once in a while, I think of all the "projects" I r=
ead about that had a little disclaimer "this is safe because of the small c=
urrent that a dry cell can provide.  Do not connect directly to an AC-drive=
n power supply", and I wonder if they're still "safe" in this day of much b=
etter batteries!

Ditto.  A fine and educational example of the importance of that insulating=
 "skin" you have.
