I think Bill was touching these terminals with his finger, not his tongue. He just used saliva to moisten his finger. Still, 90V is really pushing it. I've only tried the 9V battery on tongue thing once and I will never do it again. For me, it was very painful and left my tongue somewhat numb for about a half hour. My sense of taste took about an hour to return fully to normal.
