Yeah - it suffers the same problem as all of the other units that=20 I've seen - too complex for the end users. Really and truly: I need something that has only two buttons with=20 indicators - Record and Stop. And it has to record to both an=20 internal hard drive (which probably should be a USB drive /=20 enclosure) *and* a USB key. The only other addition *might* be a LCD=20 display with buttons to handle USB keys that aren't currently=20 compatible (wrong format, etc). The internals can be as complex as needed, with options that can be=20 configured by the techs. But the end users have to be isolated from=20 all of that stuff. I've got a couple of private responses from people who might be=20 interested in creating this beastie for me and that's probably how I=20 will wind up going. But I'm after suggestions and ideas as well.
