While you "can" do it, it will result in a very short service life. I'm trying to understand why buying one type of battery which is readily available is so much preferable to you over another type of readily available battery. I had a similar application for a trade show, and built a 14V 50AH lithium pack for it. Much lighter, but of course significantly expensive. Those cells are designed to cycle and with the appropriate protection electronics they give great service. --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
