I have a relative who has recently been implanted a pacemaker. Since then s=
he is scared of everything that can possibly be related with magnetism and =
electricity in general. I still can't make her walk under high-voltage powe=
r lines, because she's scared the pacemaker will fail/go crazy/etc. (btw: h=
er life does not depend on it, even if it fails).

I was wondering if anyone had some knowledge/experience about this theme an=
d, of course, technical details, insights,... to possibly convince her that=
 she's quite safe with "that thing here in the heart".
