I'm trying to instill an inquisitive outlook in my 3year-old.  I guess I
inherited mine from my father, a mech/elect eng, but that said I think I'm
by far the most inquisitive of my siblings (I'm the youngest), I find it
strange when one of my brothers won't question/investigate why something
works or isn't working... so I'm not sure that it's a generational thing,
just that it appears to be more prevalent nowadays.  When you encounter an
inquisitive young'un, foster that inquisitiveness!

PS.  As a developer of online learning materials, I have previously had
much input from teachers / instructional designers RE: ellipses, in that
they were to be the specific ellipsis glyph rather than the separate "dot
dot dot"...  also much joy concerning the difference between a standard
dash, an en-dash, an em-dash...
