1st 8 ducklings of the year announced themselves yesterday.
And not even Spring if you count from month ends.
Just Spring if you use Solstices as season boundaries (so Spring
starts at about August 20th).
Still several smaller ponds to play in and lots of foliage to be
raised in such that I knew not that the nest was there until I saw the
ducklings. Not uncommon.
