I just looked in my basement. I have an old core memory board. It has "8K" written on it in marker. It is a daughter board plugged into a larger board labeled "SENSE/INHIBIT BOARD 44P0506" with a hand written note "from Varian." I don't remember where I got this. I don't recall any Varians. We used PDP and Burroughs computers. This was a couple of years ago. 8-) The Varian manual (available online) refers to this as a "MEMORY T&CONT ASSY." I don't know what "T&CONT" refers to. The big board is about 7.75 x 12 inches. The small (memory) board is about 7.75 x 7.5 inches. Imagine putting that in your cell phone!
