A company called "MG Chemicals" makes an enameled-wire stripper. Its=20 a fairly thick liquid and doesn't smell all that bad. I would assume=20 that it contains Methylene Chloride or Methyl-Ethyl-Ketone (MEK) as=20 the working component. Nasty stuff but safe to use so long as you=20 take the appropriate precautions.
