My Google Calendar syncs beautifully with my S4 - that was probably=20 the first thing that I actually did when I got the phone. I had=20 previously been using Google Calendar ever since I became aware of it=20 years ago - and it has simplified that part of my life. Having it=20 available on my cell phone is just like having icing on cake - so very nice= .. >Btw: The so called Google Drive let's you manage your Word docs, >Presentations and Spreadsheets in the cloud, edit collaboratively on the >web browser or by an app. that should help you to keep your >docs synchronized across your devices. Alternatively as you have mentioned >Evernote and Dropbox are good too. I have a Google Drive account as well as Dropbox, SugarSync,=20 Cubby. But I normally don't work with word processors or=20 spreadsheets much - my part of my company doesn't require me to do=20 stuff like that. Write code: yes. Write technical documentation=20 with my text editor: yes. Make spreadsheets: no. The little bit of=20 word processing that I do is done with Corel Office (formerly Word=20 Perfect) and synced if necessary via one of the cloud services that I=20 mentioned above. But I'll be darned if I can see how to sync my phone's contact list=20 with the Google Contact Manager in Gmail. Anthony Toft sent me a=20 private message pointing out that this was possible but . . . I've=20 been Googling for the answer but haven't found it yet.
