Good day to all. I'm a long-time paper scribbler of quick ideas, notes, sketches,=20 schematics, etc. These collect on my desk and eventually get shoved=20 into a file folder or box somewhere, whereupon it is effectively=20 lost. I occasionally go back into those old notes and its neat what=20 I often find . I'd like to start doing some of that stuff electronically, so that I=20 might be able to more easily find it when I go searching for that=20 elusive idea that I had years ago. I do NOT want to use my electronics CAD software for this - its too=20 much work. What I'd rather have is something that allows both=20 free-hand and 'snap-to-grid' kind of drawing tool as well as having a=20 decent electronic symbol library (resistor, capacitor, transistors,=20 op-amps). Being able to do very simple flow-charting would be a=20 bonus (I'd use the boxes for simple 'black box' type diagrams. In other words, something really, really simple and quick to use. If=20 I were doing only electronics stuff, I'd probably use something like=20 LTspice - its relatively quick and produces small files. My partner=20 is suggesting that I use Corel Draw (or Designer) but I'm not very=20 competent with that software. Thus my request. I'm guessing that there is probably something already existing and am=20 asking what others are doing or using. Being able to view those=20 sketches on my smart-phone (Galaxy S4) would be *really* cool. I'm now just beginning to use Evernote and being able to drop those=20 quick sketches into Evernote would be useful. Suggestions gratefully accepted.
