I received my son's DroidX smartphone(?) as a hand-me-down gift. It=20 appears that I am required to have a GMAIL account before I can download=20 Apps (free or paid) from the store. My XOOM tablet does not require it. I may be the last PalmPilot user to leave the building. Am I expected to=20 turn off the lights? I am going to miss the memo function. Maybe I can just do it with a=20 spreadsheet...
