I've just in the process of setting up W8.1. Something Microsoft have=20
changed in the setup process in the preview is that you must have or sign=20
up for a Microsoft account.

Obviously this may disappear in the RTM version, but in the current W8=20
setup you can elect to skip this stage. At the moment I consider this an=20
annoyance.

I'm using the Technet Pro edition, but I think the only difference between=
=20
that and the one available for public download is that the public one has a=
=20
bunch of Apps included.
