I assumed he was just curious about how they tick (like i once was which also put me on my career path). i will have to ask what his motivation is. As per a previous post about a parent who believed their child had what it takes to be a world class concert musician but just needed motivation ... was then told that their child had what it takes you would not be able to stop them. I suspect that future world famous games programmers would be showing their parents how to write games at a young age. But point taken, just want to support his interest.
