I personally believe that a good embedded developer should be able to turn = his hand to any processor with some degree of=20 success, so it's good to know a few brands/types, and master in one. I can't think of any certified courses off-hand, bit one thing I can think = of that's commercially useful=20 is the Design Partner Program.=20 You show that you are capable of developing using their devices, and some o= ther technical stuff, and get on the program.=20 The benefits include discounted development tools and a link on their websi= te, and you can use the partner logo. I'm getting on it next Tuesday, so I'll know more of the hoops that need ju= mping then.
