I am dealing with AAA alkaline cells and I am looking for general=20
information on leakage; I could get into the specifics of the=20
application but maybe it's best to start with a few general questions,=20
as follows:

Do any of you have any thoughts on how I  can evaluate whether a given=20
brand of battery is more prone to leakage than another?

What conditions (normally encountered) will cause battery leakage?

Are there environmental conditions which might make a battery more prone=20
to leakage during storage?

What precautions might be taken to eliminate or minimize leakage?

Do you have any recommendations for sources of information on this?
