After 5months of issues with Windows 8, trying to get software including=20 CMS Intellicad (Autocad clone) to work properly, I agree. I did try without success=20 to obtain another legal XP Pro CD without success. Unfortunately=20 Intellicad hasn't been ported to Linux and uses an older version of VBA=20 heavily. The other one that was a problem was TRILOGI, the IDT for=20 TRI-PLC PLC's, but they solved that quickly for *. It uses an old=20 version of Java.
