One of our 16 solar-power test sites in Tucson, AZ is owned by a=20
gentleman who also owns a brand new Telsa model S.

I was lucky enough to catch a front seat while the back seat held 4 more=20
for a total of 6.

The suspense began just walking up to it, as there was NO door knob or=20
whatever, until the owner clicked something in his pocket, at which=20
point the door "knob" extracted out for access, and we got in. Another=20
click caused instant and VERY cold air conditioning.

The driver slowly backed out into traffic, without the slightest engine=20
sound. Moving to a less-busy part of town, he stopped and said get=20
ready, after INSISTING that the seat belts were set correctly. He then=20
raced away from a standing stop. Loaded with 6 hefty people, the Telsa=20
easily sped past 85 MPH in a few seconds. No strain, no smoke, no=20
hesitation, NO TRICKS, it simply owned the road.

I had whiplash for 3 days. I savored every minute.
