Land surveyor use the sun with transit or theodolite (very accurate)=20
(surveying instrument that measures horizontal and vertical angles)=20
looking at sun or stars. The table of sun/star locations is called an=20
Ephemeris. Probably can locate a digital one, generate a lookup table to=20
determine pointing direction for panels. The methods described are=20
fairly accurate, getting within inches.
