Even if you would be able to get an authoritative contact that you could
ask, I wouldn't give much credit to the answer. Not because the dude
would necessarily lie, but because, as they say, "all is fair in war and
love". I don't think free love would mess up your GPS signal, but I
highly suspect that if there is war in a given area, the military will
turn on or off or partly on or off any satellite signal as they see fit,
no matter what they thought they would do before. I mean... it's war,
right? Supposedly a last resort. You can't really predict what you'll
need in case of war.
