Well, I just got burned.
I designed a new product around an Electronic Assembly EA DIP204J-6NLW
character LCD module (4x20 black on white background) And I find out this
week that the part has become unobtainium. The manufacturer has declared it
obsolete to be replaced by a 3.3v only version EA DIP203J-6NLW part. And
yes, I could design that in and deal with the 3.3v issues, but even that
part seems to be on intergalactic back order.

So... Seeking suggestions for a daylight readable 4x20 character LCD
module. Must fit in a housing 95mm wide. Most preferably with multiple
sources so I don't find myself in this situation again.
