It is still not working for me. The Linux setup is a Raspberry Pi with=20 the recommended Wheezy Distribution. Ssh is running and the Pi is=20 running remote with Putty in Bash mode and as GUI using Window's Remote=20 Desk top mode. The Android terminal program looks like a Bash screen but=20 it does not know ssh or any of the simple linux commands I have tried. The Android Xoom has a nice screen (10 inch) and a usable keyboard. I=20 like the camera, the ability to web surf and to read my collection of=20 PDF's. If it could keep the appropriate maps internally it would be a great=20 GPS. Unfortunately the absence of an internet connection soon renders=20 the GPS useless when traveling by automobile. The free apps are a mixed=20 blessing. They seem to bring a never ending stream of games and other spam! The least machine I can be happy with is a laptop computer. The cheaper=20 HP's meet my needs very well. I am inclined to set the Android aside for=20 now and pursue more interesting challenges. BTW, the Hacker keyboard allows the Hacker programmer full access to all=20 of the data that you input... passwords & all.
