This is why I want to make an open source (GPL) PIC32 toolkit. There are already two good MIPS M4K C compilers (gcc and llvm/clang) so the hard work is already done. The only thing that's missing is a simple little tool to set PIC32 config bits in the hex file or figure out how to do it with linker scripts. Could probably be done over the weekend if I'm made aware that enough people are interested in this. Microchip makes too good of a microcontroller to be shamed by their crappy software. They can't even rip code off gcc properly. --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
