Sad memories.. My 91 Eddie Bauer met it's end at 55 mph into a telephone pole, when an ice storm had gone through the area some while before I arrived. When they pulled it off the pole, my front license plate was stuck to the pole. I peeled it off, then observed that I could put my fist between the ground and the pole on the impact side. I put my foot on the bumper, dead center and my knee was at the hood line. This was a version without air bags. I got a bruise from the seat belt. A PC keyboard from the back had stuck itself into the windshield like a dart, and a machining flat that I was transporting bent the back seat to about a 30 degree forward angle. That car also had the "firestone tires of death" that gave me 92kmiles without ever rotating them. I kept my tires inflated! --=20 http://www.piclist.com/techref/piclist PIC/SX FAQ & list archive View/change your membership options at http://mailman.mit.edu/mailman/listinfo/piclist .
